Kaka: "I still want to succeed at Real Madrid"

After watching half a season from the substitute’s bench, the Brazilian midfielder featured in the starting line-up in the game against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.

Kaka, former Milan midfielder, does not receive a lot of playing time in the Capital side as Jose Mourinho preferred to include Sami Khedira, Luka Modric and Xabi Alonso in the squad. The Brazilian international stated after the match he was happy with a chance to play in the first team.

“I have to take my chances and I’m doing it. My goal is to conquer this rough patch and soak up the applause at the Bernabeu because I still want to succeed at Real Madrid,” stated Kaka

The player revealed that he was close to leaving the side during winter transfer window.

”I had good chance to leave in the winter but it was not good for Madrid financially,” revealed the midfielder.
