Kaka’s stunning return for Brazil in Iraq friendly

Kaka got off to a flying start for Brazil after a two-year absence from his national team.

He put his stamp on the team’s tremendous 6-0 friendly win over Iraq in Malmo firing the third ball three minutes into the second half. The first two belong to Chelsea midfielder Oscar who scored a brace in five-minute stint in the first half. Hulk, Neymar and Lucas did their bits midway through the second half.

Brazil coach Mano Menezes was intended to involve more experienced world-class players to the squad and he considers it an ideal time for Kaka to return. The 30-year-old amasses 82 appearances and 28 goals since international debut in 2002.

‘It’s a golden chance for me to perform again for Brazil and I am extremely happy to earn a call-up. I feel like benting over backwards for my team and for my country,’ said Kaka in a statement.
