La Liga news: Real slumps behind

La Liga leaders Barcelona gained a five-point lead, when Real Madrid suffed a 2-1 loss to Getafe at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez on Sunday.

Gonzalo Higuain brought Los Blancos the lead in the first half but on 53rd minute Juan Valera headed past Iker Casillas an equalizer. On 75th minutes the substitute Adrian Colunga slid a pass to Barrada, who helped his team to claim a valuable 2-1 victory over Real Madrid.

The Portuguese Jose Mourinho’s men are in 16th place with just one point from their opening two games.

‘Real was very bad, an unacceptable match,’ Mourinho said at a news conference.

‘The only message I want you to take away tonight is that it was a deserved defeat for us.

‘This was a match in which the defeat was absolutely deserved. More than two matches with just one point it was a horrible match,’ he told reporters.

Barcelona claimed a 2-1 victory over Osasuna in the Estadio El Sadar on Sunday.

Joseba Llorente gave Osasuna the lead on 17th minute, but an equalizer from Lionel Messi cancelled it out on 76th minute and in three minutes he doubled the score, netting the ball into the bottom corner.

Valencia and Deportivo La Coruna ended a 3-3 draw.

Granada and Sevilla scored a 1-1 draw after Alvaro Negredo cancelled out Mikel Rico’s opener.

Real Sociedad earned a 2-1 victory over Celta, while Betis defeated to Rayo Vallecano 1-2, as well as Espanyol and Zaragoza, 1-2.

Malaga finished 1-1draw with Mallorca.

Come on Barca!! Make a nice gap while 'los madrilenos' keep getting tan and thinking about smart haircuts :))
