Lallana claims the Saints are thriving under Pochettino
Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana is convinced the team’s performances has improved significantly since Mauricio Pochettino’s appointment.
Ex-Espanyol manager Pochettino succeeded Nigel Adkins as Southampton coach and led his side to four victories in 10 games. The Saints have extended their winning streak to three games this past Saturday with a comfortable 2-0 win over Reading at Madejski stadium. The result saw Southampton moving to 11th spot in Premier League table, six points above the relegation zone.
Lallana said: “We’re sitting higher in the league, we’re scoring more goals and I think the table speaks for itself. We’ve got a different manager who’s got a different culture about him. He’s got different methods and he’s gradually getting them across to the players.”
