Latest Transfer Rumors in Italian Football: Balotelli, Drogba in, Robinho out at AC Milan

Latest Transfer Rumors in Italian Football: Balotelli, Drogba in, Robinho out at AC Milan

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri is believed to be interested in the Man City Italian striker Mario Balotelli. The Rossoneri consider two options: they either loan forward with a right to purchase him in the summer, or offer Pato in a part-exchange deal. The price tag for each player amounts to 25 million Euros.

Santos coach Muricy Ramalho revealed they broke negotiations with AC Milan forward Robinho over the return to the former club that launched his career (in 2010 he was loaned out to Santos for the entire season).

Ramalho admitted that although Santos are interested in signing Robihno, they simply cannot afford him. “As it was with Diego, there are players that interest us very much, but they would place a very heavy burden on us from an economic point of view,” he said “Robinho is in fact one of them, but we are still exploring other names on the market.” This season the 28 year-old player has only once appeared in AC Milan’s starting eleven, due to the injury and excellent performance from El Shaarawy in the last games.

Recently AC Milan also indicated their interest in Shanghai Shenhua forward Didier Drogba. The Rossoneri are hoping to loan 34 year-old Ivorian for two months in January, as there is a two-month winter break in the Chinese Super League.
