Latest transfer rumours: Belözoglu returns to Fenerbahce

The Turkish side has reportedly offered a two-and-a-half deal to the midfielder.

Atletico Madrid player Emre Belözoğlu may leave the club on a free transfer as the Spanish side is trying to reduce the budget spending for the second half of the season.

Emre’s agent Ahmet Bulut refused to confirm the move and underlined that the sides have not reached an agreement. “I met with the player and will go to Madrid tomorrow, but anything could happen, he may come back to Fenerbahçe,” claimed Bulut.

Belözoğlu moved to Atletico from Fenerbahçe last summer as a free agent.
