Latest transfer rumours: Kiessling to leave Bayer in summer

Top European clubs are fighting for the talented German international.

Stefan Kiessling shows superb performance this season netting 15 goals and making six assists in 22 Bundesliga performances. The striker is currently the top scorer in the league and it is highly unlikely that the player will remain at Bayer Leverkusen for the following season.

Kiessling is reportedly chased by Borussian Dortmund and Dynamo Kiev. The agent of the forward Ali Bulut confirmed the interest from the running German champions, while the player himself refused to comment on the possible transfer, stating: “I am very surprised to see myself linked to Borussia Dortmund. This is nothing I am really thinking about. Of course, I am honoured if my name is mentioned in such a respect. This should however not cause any unrest. Now I am fully focused on Bayer Leverkusen.”

The 29-year-old German is also on the transfer radar of Chelsea who are prepared to splash £6m for a promising forward.
