Latest transfers: Javi Martínez, Julio Cesar and Bojan Krkic

Bayern Munich clinched a deal with Athletic Bilbao for Javi Martínez, Julio Cesar joins QPR and Bojan Krkic signed with Milan on loan.

Bayern Munich have signed the midfielder Javi Martínez from Athletic Bilbao for €40m, which is the most expensive transfer in the history of the Bundesliga.

Bayern claimed that the 23-year-old Spanish had repudiated his contract with Bilbao. Spanish football federation and the professional football league allowed him to join Bayern Munich.

Martinez inked a five-year deal after he had a medical on Wednesday.

Julio Cesar leaves Internazionle for QPR. Brazilian goalkeeper signed a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee. During his seven seasons in Inter the team won five Serie A titles and became the Champions League winner. Cesar earned 64 caps for the Brazil national team.

Bojan Krkic will join AC Milan from AS Roma on loan for one season. The deal was signed after his medical on Wednesday.

‘It is a great club and the team is made of a historic group of players. I want to thank the Coach, who wanted me so much, by playing at my best,’ said the 22-year-old Bojan.

A former Barcelona player, he scored seven goals for Roma last season.
