Leeds takeover to be completed by December 21

Leeds United owner Ken Bates has confirmed that the club has successfully completed the takeover negotiations with the Bahrain-based investment bank GFH Capita.

According to Bates, the first part of the deal has been finalized, and the total takeover will be completed by the 21st of December. Bates will stay on the position of chairman till the end of the season to assist the new owners during the transitional period.

Currently Leeds United are on the 18th spot in the 24-team Championship .
