Lille signs Soualiho Meite from Auxerre

The midfielder will join Ligue 1 team in summer.

The 18-year-old French player penned a four-and-a-half-year contract, though he was loaned back to Auxerre until summer.

Meite claimed he was lucky to join Lille, underlining: “It is with huge pleasure that I sign for Lille, one of the biggest French clubs.”

Auxerre are now playing in the second French league, while Lille stands 11th in the top flight.
