Liverpool to bid for Großkreutz

Liverpool would love to sign 24 year-old Borussia Dortmund midfielder Kevin Großkreutz and are working towards this end.

Bild claims that The Reds are determined to bring the talented German player to Anfield in order to add depth to their midfield line. Liverpool’s manager Brendan Rodgers is reportedly ready to table around £10 million for Großkreutz, while Borussia are unlikely to settle for anything less than £25 million. The midfielder’s contract is due to expire at the end of the next season.

The German told that he is flattered by Liverpool interest and admitted that he would be interested to move to the English Premier League in the near future.

Another two players topping the Rodgers’ list of transfer targets are Barcelona starlet Jeffren and Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge.
