Liverpool eye Coutinho move

Daily Mirror informs Liverpool have turned their attention to Brazilian starlet Coutinho in a bid to expand their midfield options.

Inter Milan have rejected Liverpool’s offer of £8 million for the 20-year-old Brazil international and told the Reds they are not going to let their player leave for anything less than €12 million as they consider him a hot prospect for the future. Despite the fact that Coutinho is apparently prepared to break into the first team he has been loaned out to Espanyol to gain more first-team experience last season.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers praised Coutinho as a future star and considers him as an alternative to Thomas Ince, after Blackpool have broken down the talks about young player’s move to the Anfield.

Coutinho has made 10 Serie A appearances this season scoring one goal.
