Liverpool eye switch for Southampton Rodriguez

Liverpool are seriously considering the possibility of bringing Southampton forward Jay Rodriguez to Anfield.

The 23-year-old has joined the Saints from Burnley for £7 million in summer, signing a four-year deal. He has been in impressive form this season, helping the Saints to secure several important victories. For instance Rodriguez has scored a marvelous goal in Southampton’s 3-1 win over Liverpool. Brendan Rodgers has been monitoring the development of player for several months and is expected to make a formal offer in summer, as he considers the player to fit perfectly to Liverpool’s style of play.

However Southampton are unlikely to let their player leave for anything less than £10 million.
