Liverpool insist Suarez is not for sale at any price

Liverpool are determined to try and hold onto services of their talismanic forward Luis Suarez, despite European giants Juventus and Bayern Munich sniffing around.

According to the recent reports Juventus and Bayern Munich have put the Uruguayan ace on top of their transfer list and will do utmost to lure the prolific goal-scorer, who elads Premeir League goal scoring charts with 22 goals.

The 26-year-old player has committed his long-term future to the club by extending the deal with Liverpool last year, while Reds managing director Ian Ayre said, the club does not plan to sell him. Ayre also admitted Liverpool plan to build team around Suarez. He said: “I remember when they bought the team, John made a comment in the media - we don’t want to just build a team to win, but to keep winning. To do that you have to have a number of world-class players on your team. You also need to play at the highest level in the Premier League and European soccer, you need players like Luis and Steven Gerrard on your team.

“So the last thing in our mind is selling Luis Suarez. He’s not for sale. It’s not something we’re interested in,” he added.
