Makhubele will lead Black Leopards

The newly appointed coach is backed by the club

South African football club Black Leopards decided to leave the caretaker manager Abel Makhubele at the post till the end of the season. The assistant coach was promoted to the position earlier this month when Ian Palmer was sacked after a string of poor results.

The statement issued by the club authorities states the tactician spent more than two seasons at the club gaining reputation of “a diligent, knowledgeable coach” who knows the club’s culture and the young players.

Before accepting the offer to head the first team Makhubele mainly worked with the youth sides.
