Malaga might be expelled to the Second Division B

Four Malaga players submitted official complaints to the Spanish Footballers Association (AFE) on salary delay.

Spanish press reports that four representatives of the Andalusian club Cazorla, Van Nistelrooy, Mathijsen and Rondón reported to the AFE on salsry delays and fiscal irregularities. The players denounced the club for unpaid amounts of contracts up to 35-40 percent. All four players did not come to the meeting between the squad and the President of the AFE Luis Rubiales where possible solutions of the problem were discussed.

The club did not make any comments about the situation yet they should present defense at the AFE till 25th of July. All the payments should be settled till 31st of July or Malaga should reach temporary agreement with the players. In case the sides do not find any consensus, the team would see relegation to the Second Division B.

The sources close to the club inform that complaints could be withdrawn after the agents of the footballers will negotiate with the owners of the team.
