Malaga pens a deal with Diego Lugano

Uruguay international has reportedly arrived to the club’s headquarters to finalize the details of the contract.

Lugano moved to PSG in 2010 yet failed to secure a place in the starting line-up losing competition to Thiago Silva and Alex.

PSG manager Carlo Ancelotti confirmed the transfer earlier, claiming:”Lugano has made a decision to look for a team where he could play more often. It’s true that he was never playing but he has been very professional.”

The head coach thanked the player for his dedication and underlined:” It’s quite easy to be a pro when you play every match – it’s even more difficult when you don’t stand a chance to play.”
