Man City ready to sell Lescott

Man City ready to sell Lescott

According the time Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini has decided to offload left-back Joleon Lescott to reduce the burden on the club’s payroll.

The Citizens boss is reportedly willing to bring some quality players at the Etihad stadium in January. However Man City board said that he must sell some deadwood first.

Lescott, 30, is on a £90,000 per week deal at the club. He has turned into fringe player making just 12 appearances this season and is the perfect candidate to leave. However Man City are unilkely to let their player go for anything less than £8 million.

Everton boss David Moyes is said to be keen on rejoining with his former player. However Lescott’s wage demands will be the major stumbling block in negotiations with the player.
