Man City Tevez rejected offer of a new contract

Daily Mail reports Manchester City star Carlos Tevez will not extend his current deal with the Citizens which is due to expire next summer.

The 28-year-old Argentinian revealed he is interested in a move back to his home country in order to play for his childhood club Boca Juniors after his contract expires. Tevez is reportedly determined to end his career with the the Genoese.

Tevez has joined the Citizens from the bitter rivals Man Utd in 2009 to become the fans’ favorite. Tevez’s Man City career was put on hold after the infamous dispute with boss Roberto Mancini. However the striker apologized to the Italian and was allowed to continue playing for the first team.

Tevez has been in a decent form this season, scoring 7 goals in 21 appearances for his club.
