Man City Zabaleta targets FA Cup glory

Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta revealed that although he enjoyed outstanding season with his club, it will mean nothing, should he be left without silverware.

The 28-year-old Argentina international has been one of the most consistent Citizens’ players during the season, when most of key players experienced ups and downs in their form. The defender insisted he would only consider the season successful, should he lift FA Cup over his head.

Zabaleta said: “I have enjoyed the season and being a regular in the team has been fantastic, but it will be even better if we can win the FA Cup. The Premier League is the one everyone wants but we know how important the FA Cup is and winning it would be a great end to the season. A team like City need to keep winning a trophy every year.”
