Man Utd to offload De Gea
Daily Mirror states that Manchester United are determined to offload their young goalkeeper David De Gea as his lack of strength outweighs his apparent advantages and prevents him from becoming United’s firm first choice between the sticks.
Red Devils are reportedly prepared to sell the 22-year-old Spaniard for £22 million with Real Madrid are said to be interested in sealing the deal. Sir Alex Ferguson considers Liverpool’s José Reina or Stoke’s Asmir Begović to be an ideal replacement for De Gea.
De Gea has made just 12 appearances this season.
