Man Utd set to join Hamburg Son chase
Daily Mirror reports that Manchester Unite are the latest side to join the chase for Hamburg striker Son Heung-Min, who has been compared to Cristiano Ronaldo for his impressive runs, dribbles and clinical finishing ability.
Sir Alex Ferguson has instructed his scouts to watch the 20-year-old in action, who could be sold for around £10million in summer. However the Red Devils will certainly face a stiff battle for the signature of the wonderkid with Chelsea said to be closely monitoring the situation.
The South Korean has been a firm first-choice player for both Hamburg and his national side since his debut three years ago. Son’s versatility could be a valuable asset for any team, as he is capable to play anywhere up front or even as an attacking midfielder. Moreover, the purchase of Son could be an excellent commercial move as the arrival of the player to the top Premier League club will encourage the shirts’ sales and further boost the Premier League popularity in South Korea and of other Asian countries.
