Manchester City Kolarov is in talks with Juventus

Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov admitted he has entered talks with Juventus over a possible switch to the Serie A club.

Kolarov struggled to secure a first-team place last season and is seriously considering a possibility of leaving Emirates stadium. He has been linked with a move to a host of top European clubs, but Bianconeri were considered firm favourites to sign him.

Kolarov said: “I am constantly in contact with the club (Juventus), and we will soon see what will happen. I’m happy in Manchester, but I want to play regularly. Money is not everything, I would be available to cut my salary. Simply, I want to be in the regular eleven.”

Should the deal go through the 27-year-old Serbian left back would be the second City player to join the Old Lady this summer, after the departure of Carlos Tevez.
