Manchester United still fly high

The English club was again named the world’s most valuable team.

Forbes released the list of 100 richest sport clubs in the world and seven out of first ten are football teams. United kept the title they were given a year before and remained number one on the list with estimated cost of £1.43billion. The Spanish super club Real Madrid follows the Red Devils with £1.20 billion, though the fieriest rivals of the Galacticos from Barcelona took only the 8th place with £838 million.

One more English club Arsenal made £825 million last year thus finishing 10th. Overall most sides in the ranking are National Football League (American football) franchises.

It should be mentioned that Manchester United are preparing to a listing on the New York Stock Exchange in two months.
