Marco Verratti: ‘It's not every day you join a club like PSG’.

PSG embarked on a spending spree, paying €23 million for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and €12 million for Marco Verratti from Pescara.

Verratti was presented after Ibrahimovic at today’s conference. The Italian player told the reporters he had excellent impressions of the club and the players. He stated he was proud to represent PSG and wanted to do well with the club.
The midfielder promised he would give all his skills to the club, being determined he would progress under the helm of Carlo Ancelotti that put faith in the 19-year-old.

He added that playing with Ibrahimovic, Pastore, Lavezzi was a great challenge for him and PSG was the first choice for him as soon as they showed their interest.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi claimed that the transfer of a young Italian signaled the new direction the club moved in as they intented to bet on young talents thus investing into the future.
