Massimiliano Allegri: “I hope next term the team will be more prepared“

Milan head coach acknowledges his mistakes after a draw against Inter.

Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri was disappointed after a 1-1 draw against Inter as the Rossoneri performed brilliantly in the first half, but failed to impress in the second.

“The team should’ve controlled possession better to make Inter run after us, but we ended up doing some things that we shouldn’t in a match like this,“ stated the tactician at the after-match interview.

The manager claimed he praised the squad after the game, saying: “I complimented the guys after the fixture, because they put in a good performance.”

The Italian tactician also took the blame for Milan’s unsuccessful season, revealing: “This is something me and my staff are reflecting on, because it is a consistent trend with us. Probably it takes a little time for us to settle, especially this term when we had made so many changes. I hope next term the side will be more prepared to get good results straight away,” said Allegri  .
