Match-fixing is a problem says Spanish official

The Vice President of the Spanish national Professional League Javier Tebas openly admitted the problem of match-fixing in modern football, stating:” It is a fact that matches are fixed, but you have to provide evidence for it. We are trying to expose those who cheat in the game.”

The official confirms the words of the UEFA head Michel Platini that said recently that 0.7% of the matches in Europe are fixed. The Spaniard underlined:” I don’t say things for the sake of it. I stated what I stated so that people considering making this offence know well we are on their case. I know games have been fixed, but one thing is the real truth and another is the truth that is proved in court”.
