Riccardo Montolivo, Daniele De Rossi and Mario Balotelli helped Italy to get three points at San Siro, even though to play the second half with ten men after Pablo Osvaldo was given the red card. So Italy is the leader in Group B with 10 points after four qualifying games.

Faroe Islands 1-4 Republic of Ireland

Germany 4-4 Sweden
Extraordinary match between Germany and Sweden ended in 4-4 draw. Two early goals by Miroslav Klose, one from Per Mertesacker and Mesut Özil gave Germany a 4-0 advantage but the Swedish men turned out stubborn enough to come from behind and finish the game 4-4 draw via Zlatan Ibrahimović, Mikael Lustig, Johan Elmander and Rasmus Elm’s goals within the last 28 minutes.

Netherlands have an excellent start without losing a game during their World Cup qualifiers and in their Tuesday’s match against Romania they made it 2-0 after half an hour and added two more.

Russia 1-0 Azerbaijan
In the match against Northern Ireland Cristiano Ronaldo recorded his 100th cap but nevertheless they didn’t earn the desired three points. Niall McGinn gave Northern Ireland the lead right at the half-hour mark and Helder Postiga managed to level the score on the 79th minute. Portugal has seven points as well as Israel, while Russia heads the group with 12 points.
Russia maintained their perfect start to FIFA World Cup qualifiers and reap the fruits of Fabio Capello’s methods. They keep clean sheet from four wins without conceding a goal. Roman Shirokov converted a penalty six minutes from time and gave his team three more points.

San Marino 0-2 Moldova
The match between Poland and England at the National Stadium Warsaw was postponed because it was raining heavily and the surface on the stadium soaked. Warsaw officials considered the stadium’s retractable roof wasn’t needed in spite of the forecast. FIFA World Cup qualifier was rescheduled for Wednesday afternoon.

Sergio Ramos gave Spain the lead on the 25th minute netting his seventh international goal but Didier Deschamps’ men managed to equalize through Olivier Giroud goal in the injury time.
