Milan chase Newcastle pair

According to Daily Mirror the Italian giants AC Milan have set their sights on signing two Newcastle players – goalkeeper Tim Krul and fullback Davide Santon.

Milan assistant manager Mauro Tassotti revealed they are seriously considering the possibility of signing 22-year-old ex-Inter defender Davide Santon in a bid to rebuild their team. Santon himself has recently dismissed the speculations linking him with a move to Italy insisting he is happy to stay at the St. James Park.

Milan are also looking for a long-term replacement for Christian Abbiati and considering 24-year-old Tim Krul as an ideal candidature. It is believed however that the Italians will not be able to afford both players.
