Napoli president: ‘Cavani is not for sale, but we could let him go for €100m’.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis stated Edinson Cavani is worth €100 million and any club interested in the forward should be ready to offer this price.

The reports on a possible move of the forward to Manchester City or Chelsea have been circulating for a long time, yet Napoli’s officials and supporters have been reluctant to drop him. But recently Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis emphasized that the player was not for sale unless the fee of €100m was offered, explaining that was not his real value but the price of the striker for him.

De Laurentiis also mentioned that Federico Balzaretti move to Napoli was unlikely as PSG offered a higher price for the player. The president explained that Balzaretti was always welcomed to Napoli, yet the club was actively searching for another young talented defender.
