Neville set to rejoin United as Moyes’ assistant

Manchester United apprentice Phil Neville is set to rejoin with his former manager David Moyes at his childhood club as part of coaching stuff.

Neville has rejected several offers this summer, including an approach from Stoke, Brighton and Everton, because David Moyes informed him about the decision to take him to Old Trafford. The former Red Devils defender will fulfill the coaching duties alongside Jimmy Lumsden and goalkeeping coach Chris Woods.

Several clubs were also interested in signing him in a playing coach role, while BBC offered him pundit job.

The 36-year-old Neville played at Everton under Moyes for eight years and the Scot considers him as a crucial link between the coaching staff and the players.
