Norwich chase Leeds' Becchio

Daily Mirror informs that Norwich set to step up their interest in Leeds United forward Luciano Becchio as their negotiations with Celtic over a possible move for Gary Hooper broke down.

Norwich have launched an ambitious £8-million move for Celtic prolific striker Gary Hooper in the middle of the transfer campaign, however the Hoops were reluctant to release their player ahead of the Champions’ League knockout round clash against Juventus.

The Canaries have switched their attention on unsettled 29-year-old Leeds striker Luciano Becchio and set to land him for £3.5million including Steve Morison as part of the deal. Becchio has made 26 Championship appearances scoring 16 goals and setting up another 4.
