Nottingham Forest eye QPR Green swoop

Nottingham Forest eye QPR Green swoop

Daily Telegraph informs that Nottingham Forest are lining up an ambitious move for QPR goalkeeper Robert Green.

32-year-old ex- England international Rob Gren has lost his place at QPR following the signing of Julio Cesar. He is believed to be eager to move to the City Ground in search for the first-team football.

Nottingham Forest boss Alex McLeish is looking for a new goalie after their №1 Lee Camp has rejected to extend the contract with the club and is hoping to sign Green on loan with an option to buy him in future.

However the contract negotiations could be the stumbling block. Currently Green is on a £50,000 per week deal at the Loftus Road and the Foresters could not afford to have him on their payroll. Should the move for Green fall through, Nottingham Forest will make a move for Arsenal’s Lukasz Fabianski.
