Mu Kanazaki moves to Germany from Nagoya Grampus.
The Japanese player signed a year-and-a-half deal with an additional option to extend the commitment to two more seasons. Nuremberg sporting director Martin Bader claimed the player will help to improve the attacking line of the team, while Kanazaki himself stated: “I look forward to the Bundesliga, which we enjoy and find very attractive in Japan, and have joined a club with such great fans.”
“The confidence the club has placed in me. I will give back with interest,” added Kanazaki.
The midfielder has five caps for Japan, making his first appearance in 2009.
