Odemwingie set to make loan move to Crystal Palace

Daily Mail reports West Bromwich Albion misfit Peter Odemwingie could be loaned out to Championship side Crystal Palace when the loan window opens in Thursday.

The 31-year-old Nigeria international could make a loan switch until the end of the season with an option of making a deal permanent in future.
This could be a win-win situation for both WBA and Crystal Palace, as it seems Odemwingie will be frozen at the Hawthorns until the end of the season after the striker fell out of favor with fans, teammates and WBA hierarchy.

Odemwingie has made a farcical attempt of forcing through his transfer to Queens Park Rangers on transfer deadline day by driving to Loftus Road. However QPR officials have not let him in the office as the transfer negotiations fell through and WBA has not given a permission to speak to player. Both WBA chairman Jeremy Peace and coach Steve Clarke have condemned Odemwingie’s behavior. The fans have also voiced their displeasure during WBA 1-0 defeat against Tottenham.
