Oscar deal done

Oscar deal done

After leading the club to FA Cup and the Champions League victories the current Chelsea manager Roberto di Matteo embarked on a spending spree and is close to signing 20-year-old Brazilian Oscar.

Chelsea is a step away from completing a deal on the Internacional midfielder offering a record fee of around €25 million for Brazilian player. Although the first offer of the club was rejected by the president of Internacional for not being as good as expected, reports claim Chelsea is ready to increase the bid.

Tottenham was also closely linked to the transfer of the Brazilian playmaker yet the offer presented by Chelsea is way higher.

Oscar was selected in Brazil’s Olympic squad and will show his craft in August in London.

Chelsea have already made two expensive signings this summer with Eden Hazard and Marko Marin joining the team for joint value of £38m.
