Pazzini for Cassano: player-exchange deal
AC Milan and Inter have made an agreement over Giampaolo Pazzini and Antonio Cassano.
The two clubs said on Tuesday that Giampaolo Pazzini is joining AC Milan in exchange for Antonio Cassano.
The player-exchange deal is expected to be completed on Wednesday and both underwent their medicals on Tuesday.
Media reported that the Italian international, Antonio Cassano, agreed to join Inter after the Rossoneri offered him and €7.5m to their city rivals for Giampaolo Pazzini.
The Nerazzurri president Massimo Moratti said: ’Cassano is the sort of signing that can make a difference.
It’s an interesting operation – who doesn’t want a player like Cassano?
We think he can be useful and the coach thinks the same.’
