Pazzini is set to renew his contract with Milan

The Italian club wants the player to stay till 2016.

Giampaolo Pazzini moved to Milan from Inter last summer and since then scored 12 goals in 21 Serie A fixtures. The current deal of the forward expires in 2015, yet Milan has reportedly offered the player a 12-month extension.

Pazzini replaced Balotelli in the pecking order for Sunday fixture against Lazio and netted twice in a match that saw Milan prevail 3-0.
