Premier League Matchday 29 preview: Norwich vs Southampton

Premier League Matchday 29 preview: Norwich vs Southampton

After a bright start in his charge at Southampton, now Pochettino seems to experience the troubles, as the Saints have suffered two consecutive games and edged closer to the relegation zone. Despite playing entertaining attacking football, Southampton concede a lot of goals due to the sloppy defense (probably Pochettino should give the chance to his new signing Vegard Forren). The game against Norwich shows whether the Argentinean has learned the lesson taught by Queens Park Rangers last week.

Norwich team news:

Midfielder Alex Tettey is set to miss yet another game because of knee injury. Chris Hughton could hand a chance of first start to on-loan forward Kei Kamara who has clearly impressed appearing as a substitute in recent several games. John Ruddy is not far from returning to the full training after undergoing a thigh injury, while Andrew Surman will be out for the rest of the season after an operation on his knee.

Southampton team news:

The Saints’ medical staff will assess Adam Lallana and Danny Fox in order to determine whether they are fit enough to feature in the game against the Canaries. Luke Shaw is recovering from his thigh injury and may be limited to a substitute appearance. Vegard Forren could be handed his first start of the season.
