Premier League Matchday 30 Preview: Aston Villa vs QPR

Premier League Matchday 30 Preview: Aston Villa vs QPR

Queens Park Rangers visit Aston Villa in a crucial six-pointer which could be determining for the outcome of the relegation struggle.

Both teams enter the game having secured the victories in their last respective Premier League clashes. Aston Villa have beaten Reading, while QPR outplayed Sunderland to record their second back-to-back victory, which is the first time since their return into the top-flight.

Aston Villa team news:

Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert will be tempted to field the same starting XI that saw off the challenge of Reading. Long-term absentee Darren Bent has recovered from his ankle injury and could make an long-anticipated appearance from the bench. Richard Dunne and Marc Albrighton will definitely miss the game due to serious injuries.

Queens Park Rangers team news:

Harry Redknapp has to decide whether to prefer Brazilian keeper Julio Cesar, who has just recovered from injury, over in-form yet error-prone Robert Green between the sticks. Armand Traore has returned to full training and could also feature in the forthcoming game.
