Premier League results: Liverpool 2-2 Chelsea and other matches

Liverpool managed to hold spirited Chelsea to a 2-2 draw in quite a crazy match. Luis Suarez finds himself at the centre of controversy once again, as he scores an equalizer deep into the stoppage time and bites Branislav Ivanovic through the shirt.

Oscar broke the deadlock with a header from Juan Mata’s corner in the 28th minute. Sturridge leveled the game in the 52nd minute after some beautiful combining between Downing and Suarez, with the latter sweeping a magnificent pass onto the boot of Liverpool forward. Hazard converted the penalty just a minute later to give the Blues the lead once more, as Suarez was booked for a clear handball in the penalty area. The controversial incident came in the 69th minute, as Suarez should have been sent off for biting Ivanovic in a moment of madness. With time running out for the Reds, it was Suarez who scored an equalizer seven minutes into injury time.

The result saw Chelsea dropping to a fourth place, one point behind third-placed Arsenal. Liverpool remain in the seventh spot, four points behind sixth-placed Everton.

Norwich City 2-1 Reading
Fulham 0-1 Arsenal
Queens Park Rangers 0-2 Stoke City
