Premier League results: Tottenham 3-1 Manchester City

Premier League results: Tottenham 3-1 Manchester City

Manchester City saw Premier League title slipping from their hands as Gareth Bale inspired a brilliant Tottenham’s comeback to beat the visitors 3-1.

Samir Nasri got Manchester City off to a flying start by scoring with a beautifully executed finish in the 5th minute of the game. And until 75th minute it looked like the Spurs set to experience a major setback to their chances of finishing in the top four, as Man City were controlling the tie. However Andre Villas-Boas managed to turn the game on its head by introducing three substitutions. Refreshed Tottenham side scored an equalizer by courtesy of Dempsey’s goal after a magnificent cross from Bale in the 75th minute. Defoe put the Spurs in front with a well-taken finish four minutes later. Bale rounded off Tottenham victory, dinking the ball over Hart after some fine build-up.

The result means Manchester United will claim the Premier League title with four games to go, should they secure the victory over Aston Villa on Monday.
