PSG plot summer move for Man Utd star Rooney

Free-spending Paris Saint-Germain are weighting up a big-money move for Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney.

According to the recent reports PSG Qatari owners are determined to bring in another superstar to the Parc des Princes to expand their attacking options. Wayne Rooney has been targeted as an ideal player to team up with Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front. However it is believed Rooney is far from happy with Van Persie cementing his place on the offensive end and is considering his options. It is likely that the tempting offer from the French side could convince him to leave Old Trafford, despite the fact that his contract worth of £1 million per month is due to expire only in 2015.

Manchester United are unlikely to start the negotiations over a bid less than £40 million.
