PSV Eindhoven sign Maher from AZ Alkmaar

PSV Eindhoven have wrapped up the signing of talented midfielder Adam Maher AZ Alkmaar.

The 19-year-old Netherlands international put pen to paper on a five-year deal that will keep him at the Philips Stadion up until 2018, after successfully passing his medical. According to the reports, the transfer fee is in the region of eight million euros.

Maher scored 22 goals in excess of 90 appearances for his former club and won four caps for Netherlands.

PSV technical director Marcel Brands said: “We have been looking at signing him for a long time. With him we have a very talented Dutch player who fits the philosophy of PSV.”
