QPR eye Samba swoop

QPR eye Samba swoop

According to Daily Mail Queens Park Rangers have launched a desperate £10 million bid for defender Christopher Samba in order to strengthen their defense and save themselves from the agony of relegation.

The 28-year-old powerhouse Samba is currently playing for the Russian free-spending Anzhi Makhachkala and is believed to be earning around £100,000 per week. Despite the fact that QPR saw their initial offer rejected by the Russian side, The Rangers’ boss Harry Redknapp believes the defender is keen on return to England and readily jumps at the opportunity of playing for the London side.

Meanwhile QPR attempts to sign the defender have fuelled the interest from top Premier League clubs with Arsenal and Tottenham said to be closely monitoring the situation.
