QPR want Blackburn defensive pair

Daily Mirror states that Queens Park Rangers are hot on the trail of Blackburn defensive pair Scott Dann and Martin Olsson.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp, renowned shopaholic, is determined to spend big in January to bring a bunch of quality players to the Loftus Road. After the surprising transfer of Marseille forward Loic Remy, Harry wants to strengthen the back line.

Redknapp sent his assistant Joe Jordan to watch Olsson after the news that West Ham have rejected to increase their initial £2 million bid for the player. Rovers are said to be ready to settle for anything less than £3.5 million.

Scott Dann is another transfer target for Redknapp despite his unwanted Dann’s record of being relegated with two sides in two successive seasons.
