Quagliarella stays in Juventus

Italian champions want to keep the forward for the following season, states the agent.

The former Napoli man and current top-scorer of the Turin-based side Fabio Quagliarella will not move away from the team in the nearest future claimed the forward’s agent Beppe Bozzo. The striker was linked with a number of German and Spanish sides as he started only 11 League games this season and scored eight goals.

“Despite all the market rumours, I think that Juventus are ultra-convinced of keeping him. He has shown that he can be counted on, that he always responds every time that he is called upon. He’s reached the maturity that you need that allows you to continue playing for a great side,” stated Beppe Bozzo.

The agent said that the competition from Fernando Llorente who comes to the Old Lady from Athletic Bilbao in summer will only motivate the Italian forward.

“The Coach has done well to rotate his attackers and not assure anyone a starting shirt. If new forwards arrive then that will not only be a problem for Fabio,” said the representative.
