Radamel Falcao, Marco Reus and other star players to miss the World Cup

Best football players from all over the globe gather in Brazil to play for the most important trophy in sport. However, some of the best craftsmen have been sidelined with injuries and will not help their teams. Who are these star players?

1. Radamel Falcao
Monaco striker and the main Colombian hope, El Tigre, injured a cruciate ligament in January and failed to recover in time.

2. Marco Reus
Bundesliga best assistant twisted his ankle in Germany’s last friendly match against Armenia, which questions the Mannschaft’s chances of grabbing the title.

3. Franck Ribéry
Another Bundesliga star, the Frenchman Franck Ribery, has been suffering from back injury for quite a while and will not help Les Blues in Brazil, which probably could have been his last World Cup.

4. Riccardo Montolivo
Italy’s fine playmaker and AC Milan leader has been sidelined for a long period with broken leg.

5. Theo Walcott
The running man from Emirates was injured during the North London derby and will miss his second straight World Cup.

Speedy recovery, lads!
