Real Madrid is back on track after a 2-0 victory over Rayo Vallecano

Los Blancos had a poor start this La Liga campaign and a certain improvement was made this Monday thanks to goals from Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Real Madrid took the lead just 13 minutes in time via Karim Benzema’s strike. Ronaldo swept to Angel Di Maria, who delivers for Benzema to tap home. So Benzema celebrates his first goal of this La Liga campaign. At one hour mark Benzema had a luckless attempt scoring a goal, which the referee disallowed immediately.

Ronaldo doubled Real Madrid’s lead in the 69th minute. Jose Mourinho’s men secured one more victory and now they are on the road though eight points far from Barcelona.

One more match of the evening was fortunate for Sevilla FC as they overwhelmed Deportivo La Coruña 2-0, scoring both goals late in the second half.

Roma has been given a 3-0 victory after Sunday match against Cagliari was called off on for safety reasons.

Cagliari was going to play the Serie A game on the Is Arenas, located in the Sardinian capital, ignoring the local authorities, who had informed earlier that the stadium was not ready to host Serie A matches.
