Real Madrid landed Casemiro on permanent basis

Real Madrid have decided to make the deal of midfielder Casemiro permanent, after the Brazilian managed to impress Los Blancos’ coaching staff during his loan spell at Santiago Bernabeu.

The 21-year-old Brazilian has joined Madrid Castilla on a loan deal from Sao Paolo in December. He has made one senior outing against Real Betis. The Spanish giants have decided to trigger his £5.1 million release clause to sign him on a permanent basis, with the midfielder putting pen to paper on a four-year deal.

A statement on official Real Madrid web-site read: “Real Madrid C.F. have used their purchase option to buy Carlos Henrique ‘Casemiro’ and as a result he will be a first team player at the club for the next four seasons.”
